Lima Golf & Country Club -Island Oaks first opened for play in 1995. The course was designed by John Checho, Sr.
Island Oaks Golf Course is set into a wooded upstate New York countryside. The fairways are placed in such a way that the pristine beauty of the land was maintained in its natural beauty. The rolling hills, woods, sand and ponds makes Island Oaks a favorite of local golfers because it's challenging yet enjoyable to play.

It's a nice layout. The holes are varied with trees, water and bunkers all of which come in to play. Green speeds are very consistent from hole to hole

I love the setting and the course. A pleasant short drive from Rochester.Course is well maintained.Plenty of water, sand (good quality)and challenging holes. Newer, quality clubhouse. One of my favorite courses.
